Focusing now on opera, I am almost finished with an opera based on the international best selling novel, A Thousand Splendid Suns, by Khaled Hosseini. Premiere is slated for Seattle Opera in 2020. Also working on other projects, including piano music and a piece for Ann Ellsworth (horn) and string orchestra and Tibetan singing bowls. A retrospective concert of my music will take place at Merkin Hall in NYC on February 8, 2018. Recently completed the score for Symbiotic Earth, How Lynn Margulis rocked the boat and started a scientific revolution. It's the science behind how we got to this place of global strife and how to shift our focus. Survival of the fittest is NOT a fact of nature. Cooperation plays a more important role in evolution.
