Worked as part of a leadership team to create a portable end-of-life medical order in Delaware. We planned a statewide stakeholders conference, coordinated efforts with the National POLST Paradigm Task Force, wrote legislation, and advocated for passage of the bill. We came two votes short of passing the bill in our first year. We introduced the bill again in 2015, and it passed. The program will be implemented in spring of 2016.
