I have been a Registered Nurse since 1973. I found Nursing a rewarding experience and have worked in numerous areas and types of nursing. I sustained an injury and retired on 10/01/2013.I served on the Board of Directors of the Association of California State Supervisors until my retirement. It is now time to fulfill my passion. My passion is travel. In 2002 I started learning about the travel industry and joined K&E Travel. I expanded my travel education via The Travel Institute, Travel University, and individual vendor programs. As time progressed, I expanded my reach for knowledge to include professional online and face to face networking. I decided in the winter of 2008, that it was time to develop my own agency and set about doing it. Sheila's Creations Travel opened its doors in February 2009. My oldest daughter is an agent. My agency and I are now proud members of APTA, DWHSA, IADWP, SNG, ASTA, CLIA, IATA, and the ARC VTC program. We are members of Travel Leaders Network consortia. In Nov 2010 elected to the Board of the Caribbean Travel Organization No. California. Current President of San Francisco Bay Area ASTA Small Business Network and California State Retirees San Joaquin Chapter.
