Program Operations Specialist
CurrentAs a Program Operations Specialist at Seattle JazzED, I take on a multifaceted role that involves providing essential administrative support while also directly supporting students in our after-school music programs. This position requires me to maintain the daily operations of our office, ensuring everything runs smoothly in our office, as well as in our satellite programs in Seattle Public Schools. I handle a variety of responsibilities, including the onboarding of new staff, the preparation of program spaces, attendance tracking, classroom management, and creating a warm and welcoming environment for both students and staff. Additionally, I have the responsibility of overseeing office maintenance and managing our IT relationships, ensuring that all our equipment is in tip-top shape. In classrooms, I ensure students are well taken care of physically, emotionally, and musically! I am also a multi-instrumentalist, which gives me an extra layer of capability when it comes to being a helping hand to our students and staff during our music programs.
