I am Managing Director in Deloitte & Touche LLP’s Professional Practice Network. I consult with and advises audit engagement teams on the application of audit policies and guidance and the applicable professional standards and have led a variety of subject matter consultation teams related to revenue, goodwill, management estimates, emerging areas, risk assessment, sampling, substantive analytical procedures, and data analytics. I lead the development of methodology and tools and guidance related to these, and other topics, as well as identifying challenges and opportunities related to emerging technologies such as distributed ledger technology. My biggest passion is combining my deep expertise in the professional standards to new emerging ecosystems, transforming the audit, and expanding ways auditors can provide assurance. I lead Deloitte’s global audit and assurance initiatives related to crypto assets, digital assets, and distributed ledger technology. I also serve on the AICPA Digital Assets Working Group and supports the Center for Audit Quality Emerging Technologies Task Force.
