At Aspire Home Hospice, I serve as the Volunteer and Bereavement Coordinator, dedicated to broadening our impact through volunteer opportunities. While individual volunteers are at the heart of what we do, I’m excited to explore collaborations with corporations and organize community activities for our patients. We also love to work with students needing practicum or volunteer hours to complete their degree!In my bereavement role, I organize volunteer efforts to ease the burden of loss, send out bereavement letters, and work with our social worker and chaplain. Together, we assess the needs of bereaved families and provide support in a coordinated effort.
