I've worked at Divvy Bike Share for years and I've learned many different things. I started out as an Intern where I shadowed and trained with the different positions, allowing me to learn various different skills. I've shadowed Rebalancers, Technicians, Field Technicians, Mechanics, Bike Checkers, etc. I currently work as an Asset Recover Driver here. My typical work day starts at 6am. I started out as an Intern where I shadowed and trained with the different positions, allowing me to learn various different skills. I've shadowed Rebalancers, Technicians, Field Technicians, Mechanics, Bike Checkers, etc. I currently work as an Asset Recover Driver here. My typical work day starts at 6am. After clocking in I pull up all the programs needed to create the most efficient route, within a timely manner. I also check the Zoho Tickets to see if there's any abandoned bikes we need to recover. After creating my route I perform a routine checklist on the company vehicle (Ford Sprinter Vans) and return it to the dispatch. In addition to picking those bikes up for the day I perform intermediate mechanic work to bikes, to decrease the amount of bikes being brought back into the warehouse. As well as close tickets to any abandoned bikes and record data for each stop along my route. Show less
