Engineering and Designing modern solutions to houses, agriculture, commercial and steel projects. Working closely with a group of structural engineers to analyze structural plans for our clients. Designing solutions that are environmentally friendly by using the least amount of materials, affordable, and safe by following the Ontario Building Code, National Building Code, Wood and Steel Design Manuals.

Using power tools, ladders and your imagination, you get to design and create the product (climbs) the gym sells. A very enjoyable job yet possess many difficulties with being very physically demanding and requiring lots of critical thinking, team work and leadership. We work in teams to create a set of new climbs for our customers, each critically analyzed and tested for safety, fun, challenging, and unique.Trying to create each climb different than the last that has its own challenge while working with a team and navigating multiple ladders and the time. This job possess challenges in every aspect.

Working the front desk for a Rock Climbing Gym, I was responsible for customer interactions, managing money and transactions, giving safety tours, checking for the health and safety of customers, opening and closing. In addition, I was training a co-op student how to operate systems, customer interactions, safety tours, opening and closing. This student now is a part-time employee at the gym.

Traveled to various sites with a team of students to maintain and conserve the natural parks. The work included planting trees, excavating invasive trees, and trimming trees. The work required long hours of physical labor, getting my hands dirty, and working in bad weather conditions.Throughout the co-op I learned about environmental engineering that is required to make the natural parks be beneficial to the ecosystem. This included investigating engineered ponds, bio-retention cells, and decontaminating soil.

Teaching children of ages 5 to 12 the basics of gymnastics in a fun and safe environment. During classes I lead training drills for skills to better their coordination and skill.
