I supervise eleven full time and student staff and four student workers that deliver technical support for onsite end users and laptop computer support. In doing so, I set quality and service goals, set up plans to realize these goals, and implement them.As Associate Director I review and maintain help desk services to insure service quality and efficient service design and delivery by analyzing root causes, defining training and support needs based on discovered trends, engaging staff in professional development and continuing education according to community needs, and promotes the use of innovative technologies and communication tools to support end user support services. I provide assistance to the Director in defining broader strategic goals and realizing them. The Associate Director must communicate the Director’s goals, enthusiastically engage campus constituents in change efforts, and demonstrate initiative in building collaborative services. Show less
