Accounting For Growth, Inc. is a full service accounting and financial consulting firm. Founded in 1994 to service the need of small and emerging businesses to increase productivity and financial results, through flexibility,staffing, training and financial advice.The purpose of Accounting For Growth, Inc. is to allow the small business owner and manager to focus their attention and talents on developing and strengthening business relationships and product development, instead of managing the non-income producing aspects of their business. Opened Accounting For Growth, Inc. in 1994. My career began in 1978 as a staff accountant with what is now Price Waterhouse Coopers. In 1981, I joined Katz, Sapper and Miller, CPA’s; where I supervised field audits and prepared audit reports on 21 engagements annually, ten of which were real estate related. In 1984, I joined Revel Real Estate Services, Inc. as controller, where I was promoted to Treasurer and then Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 1987. At Revel, I worked closely with clients ranging in size from sole proprietorships to fortune 500 companies.In addition I directed an accounting staff of nine individuals all responding to varied client needs. During her tenure at Revel, she implemented several accounting systems, prepared financial projections and analysis for acquisitions and dispositions. And implemented a new employee benefits program. Originally from upstate New York, Shelley calls Indianapolis her home since graduating with honors from Indiana University with a BS in Accounting in 1978. She maintains her CPA status by completing 40 hours of continuing education each year. She is a Stanley K.
