Ms. Sharp is available to serve as an interim executive leader for nonprofit organizations. She also offers coaching for nonprofit leaders, comprehensive organizational assessments and strategic planning. She recently served as interim Executive Director for the Florida Native Plant Society, a statewide environmental impact organization. In addition to serving as ED, she assisted the organization with their successful executive search for a full-time ED. She previously served as interim Executive Director for Noah's Ark, an independent living community for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and also assisted with their executive search. Ms. Sharp served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Ryan Nece Foundation, a community impact organization focused on developing the next generation of community leaders. She led the board of directors, staff, and volunteers in mentoring teens learning about social challenges and community needs through volunteerism and philanthropy. She developed a deep knowledge of the issues facing the community by partnering with the many nonprofit and social services agencies throughout Tampa Bay. Ms. Sharp has extensive experience in the information technology and telecommunications industries. She was a marketing executive at IBM and AT&T for over 25 years before turning her energy to the nonprofit sector. She holds a B.A. in mathematics from Washington College and a M.B.A. from George Washington University with an emphasis on strategic planning and international marketing. In an effort to support her community she has served on the boards of Pepin Academies, LAMPLighters, A Brighter Community, Autism Speaks Tampa Bay and currently serves on the University of Tampa Corporate and Community Partnership board. Ms. Sharp has completed the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay’s Non-Profit CEO Leadership Program, Leadership Tampa and Tampa Connection leadership programs. She is a certified in volunteer management, grant writing and nonprofit financial management.
