Shelley Specchio is the Chief Executive Officer of MIBOR REALTOR® Association in Indianapolis, IN. Shelley was hired in 2017 to lead MIBOR REALTOR® Association – a well-respected organization serving Indianapolis and the surrounding central Indiana counties. She brought her desire to build and foster strong relationships and her dedication to a culture of excellence to complement MIBOR’s tradition of strong community involvement and focus on promoting an orderly and thriving real estate marketplace. Shelley successfully builds teams of exceptional employees who dedicate themselves daily to the service of the members. Together with leadership, she and her teams focus on issues most impactful to their members’ businesses, homeownership, and the efficiency of the real estate transaction. By maximizing leading-edge technology and innovation, the organization is equipped to meet the demands of a transforming industry. National involvement assists Shelley in anticipating industry trends and provides opportunities for collaboration and networking with industry experts. She has flourished under the generous environment of the organized real estate/MLS industry and looks for opportunities to pay that forward by dedicating time and energy to various industry Boards and Committees. Born and raised in Reno, Nevada, Shelley earning her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nevada and began her career in the real estate industry in 1994 when she was hired by the Reno/Sparks Association of REALTORS® to sell and produce a real estate magazine. In 2003, Shelley helped regionalize the MLS and was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the newly created Northern Nevada Regional MLS. In 2008, Shelley was elevated into the CEO role where she developed her open management style and dedication to superior service as she honed her leadership skills and built a flourishing and progressive organization.
