At CUChange, I work with a team on two observational studies on cannabis and pain (PRISM) and cannabis and memory (COBRA). Here, I use REDCap EDC software for data entry and validation. I also aided in participant recruitment, scheduling, and ran participants for studies using G-suite, and helped with outreach initiatives.

Completed a course-based undergraduate research project titled Efficacy of Chlorogenic Acid as a Potential Chemotherapeutic alongside Research Advisor Pamela Harvey, Ph.D., and two other undergraduate students. Used fruit flies as a model organism to test the chemotherapeutic effects of Chlorogenic Acid and presented APA poster of quantitative methods and results. See poster and presentation below!

As Store Support Team Trainer, I was responsible for maintaining the customer service teams’ compliance training, mandatory by the company and state for a 60-person team, as well as New Member Onboarding, and additional training to ensure team productivity. When not actively training, I worked as a cashier.

Introduced the fundamentals of Effective Altruism (philosophy, economics, psychology, social activism, and more) through group discussions and one-to-one mentoring.

Worked in general customer services, mainly as a bagger and cashier, which in turn led to hands-on experiences with a variety of customers on a daily basis.
