As a Brisbane native who grew up in our family's transport business, I've always been drawn to the intersection of business and purpose. My journey began quite humbly as a secretary and fleet controller, eventually leading to my role as General Manager of East Coast Freight Distribution on the Sunshine Coast.After a decade in general management, I felt called to something deeper. Following my intuition, I went back to university, where I threw myself into studying sustainability and international business. I'm proud of the dedication this took, earning 14 High Distinctions and four Distinctions along the way.In 2011, I was honored to be recognised as a finalist for both Professional Businesswoman of the Year and Professional Manager of the Year. While these acknowledgments were meaningful, what truly drives me is helping others find their path to fulfillment. This passion led me to co-author The Art & Science of Success Volume 3: Proven Strategies From Today's Leading Experts, which became an Amazon #1 bestseller in several categories in January 2012.One of my most meaningful roles has been serving as the volunteer CEO of Spirit Hive, a nonprofit founded in 2019 by my friend and Bali bombing survivor, Carren Smith. Working alongside Carren to prevent suicide, depression, and anxiety has been deeply fulfilling, particularly in helping establish the organisation's foundation during its crucial early years.Today, I focus on empowering others to build sustainable, impactful businesses. My experience in transport, combined with my dedication to sustainable business practices, has given me a unique perspective on creating business frameworks that benefit both companies and society. I believe in sharing the lessons I've learned along the way, hoping they might help others on their own journeys toward meaningful success.
