Freelance/Contract Photographer, Photo Editor, and Writer. I am a born creative with too many ideas to keep up with. But when I was 5 years old I found my Mother’s Kodak EK6 Instant film camera, and with it, I found the creative outlet for all my wild ideas, and what would become my lifelong passion. Growing up I was also very active in Theater Arts and Technical Theater, which helped me further my skills in photography. I also think that being a History nerd and an Honors English student helped to define my future in my photographic genres. Genres that I work in include photo story projects, and still life photography (including products and studio photo styling cover photos, and stock images). I also love street, documentary photography, and event photography. I love donating my time and skills to non-profit organizations in my community working in the areas of human rights, nature conservation, and wildlife preservation. (just contact me for help!)I was a stay-at-home mom of 2 LGBTQ children for many years. I mention them being LGBTQ because not everyone is lucky enough to raise even one child brave and unique child from this awesome community, let alone two of them! They inspired me in untold ways and have had a great impact on my photography. I do have a college degree in digital photography, and I have continued my education through PPA, LinkedIn Learning, Adobe, and other workshops, but there is no education other than experience! In total, I have had a camera in my hands for 46+ years and have worked as a professional since 2017. I also have over 34 years of experience in customer service experience and over 30 years of management experience.I love working with other photographers in collaboration on projects or in teams, so if you like my style of work and are looking for a team member, please feel free to contact me!
