Manage the marketing, promotional and client retention activity for (11) local sales offices in the Philadelphia DMA. • Create and execute annual marketing plans; present initiatives and communicate updates • Build and maintain cable affiliate relationships, leveraging promotional opportunities for a 4th ranked DMA • Research, develop and pitch marketing and promotional programs to current and prospect accounts • Oversee sports marketing efforts, help position our network’s sports assets and manage sports package launches • Strategize with Senior Leaders to identify B2B ventures and develop plans/action to secure the business • Monitor sales activity to identify advertiser current/future needs; examining competition for share opportunities• Drive sales activity by implementing ad solicitation strategies and B2B plans across all media platforms • Operate as Lead Event Planner: contract negotiation, property evaluations, event management and on-site coordination• Manage the market’s operating budget, reporting short and long-term market forecasts and plans • Collaborate with Research and Interactive leads to write/design collateral and capability materials• Responsible for local client entertainment and retention efforts including quarterly ‘touch’ programs, in-market network experiences, golf/sporting events, holiday gatherings and international VIP client appreciation trips • Develop the local marketing team by orienting, training and managing against set goals
