The Khalifa Port and Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD) Project is the construction of an offshore seaport with onshore facilities and an industrial zone. The Industrial Zone of the KPIZ Project will provide fully serviced plots for developers, including all roads and utilities. It includes earthworks, road works, electrical, street lighting, sewerage and pumping stations works.Duties:• Conducted both announced and surprise visits to construction sites for work inspections and monitored construction work quality at sites.• Issued site observation notices of violation forcing construction to stop until corrections were made.• Assist the Quality Manager in the preparation of any correspondences in compliance with the contract quality documents and site requirements.• Material submittals for civil scope including but not limited to concrete, asphalt, soils, steel reinforcements and associated building materials.• Issue Non Conformance Report (NCR) as required and determine corrective / preventive actions for close out report.• Monitor the sub-contractor’s compliance in accordance with approved quality management system.

Worked as a Project QA/QC on Kempinski Hotel & Apartments mainly overseeing all the structural inspectors. I am responsible for the trainings the newly recruited site inspectors. Duties:• Inspections of on-going civil and structural activities including but not limited to enabling, ground improvement, post tension suspended slab, rebar works, structural steel works, formwork, FDT’s, concrete pouring etc. • Prepared and update quality control manuals/plans, formats, checklists, ITP and other quality documentation.• Inspected the work at the start-up until satisfied that all workers understand the requirements and adequately performing the work.• Inspected work when conditions change, a new phase of work starts, new workers equipments or procedure are implemented, or any other change to work or job conditions takes place.• Material inspection on site as well as off the site.• On site and off site NDT testing for structural steel and concrete structures.• Verify that all material sampling and testing are performed as required.• Manage the QC staff according to their respective duties.• Liaise with the consultants and enhance the quality of work at the site according to their instructions.• Checked practices and construction for code violations.• Ensuring quality and timely delivery
