Legal and ethics advisor to Wingspan Care Group and its affiliates. Wingspan Care Group is an administrative and management organization that provides services to affiliated member agencies. Affiliated agencies include Applewood Centers, Inc., Bellefaire Jewish Children’s Bureau, Bluestone, and Monarch Lifeworks. Areas of legal and ethical advice cover healthcare, corporate, contracts, education, family, real estate, tax, and regulatory compliance.Wingspan Care Group operates a Wellness Clinic that provides psychiatry, dental, and general healthcare services. Applewood Centers, Inc. provides an array of mental health services, social services, and educational services to children, adolescents, and families. The agency is comprised of several outpatient facilities, a residential facility, and two schools. Other areas of services include in-home therapy, and foster care. Bellefaire Jewish Children’s Bureau provides a variety of behavioral health, substance abuse, education, and prevention services to children, adolescents, and families. Its programs include residential treatment, counseling and community services, autism services (including a day school), adoption, foster care, early childhood education, youth homelessness, prevention & early intervention, and mentoring. The agency also operates its own health clinic. Bluestone is a psychiatric hospital for adolescents. Monarch Lifeworks provides day and supported living services to adults with autism. Services include a vocational habilitation program, adult day support program, career planning services, clinical therapeutic intervention services, and intermediate care facilities. Responsibilities: manage, review, and negotiate contracts; maintain policy and procedure manuals; oversee the licensure, accreditation, and certification of various programs; ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws; and provide risk management services.

First as a Law Clerk, then as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, I conducted trials, charges include, but not limited to, rape, kidnapping, felonious assault, robbery, abduction, assault, gross sexual imposition, resisting arrest, theft, domestic violence, disorderly conduct, obstructing official business, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, menacing, and various traffic offenses. Represented the State of Ohio in arraignments, pleadings, and other hearings. Prepared complaints against alleged juvenile delinquents or misdemeanor and felony offenses in violation of the Ohio Revised Code and various local ordinances. Wrote responses to applications to seal juvenile records and motions to dismiss, suppress evidence, reveal, leave, new trial, order, jail time credit, in limine, transfer, transport, amend, vacate, consolidate, etc. Wrote appellate briefs that address issues of law such as sufficiency of evidence, manifest weight of evidence, jury instructions, evidence authenticity, right to choice of counsel, cumulative effect of errors, withdraw of pleas, sentencing, ineffective assistance of counsel, etc. Wrote memorandums in opposition of jurisdiction, writs of mandamus, parole letters, and post-conviction relief responses. Assisted in drafting proposed state legislation. Created training manuals for new prosecutors entering magistrate courtrooms and any juvenile prosecutor with a sex offense case. Conducted legal research on statutory limitations, rape, aggravated robbery, firearm specification, due diligence, speedy trial rights, expungement, nuisance laws, joinder, Civil Rules of Procedure, Juvenile Rules of Procedure, minimum age to prosecute, courtroom closures, warrantless arrests, forfeiture, etc. Assisted with trial preparations. Assisted with various projects.

Between the roles as a banker and teller manager, My responsibilities involved the following:1. Monitored and ensured the bank’s daily compliance with federal regulations throughout branch. 2. Filed reports, provided accurate records, and created employee testing procedures to assist with branch audit readiness. 3.
