As a child growing up, I was very aware of the unhealthy lifestyle that my Mom led. Even then, I would remind her that smoking wasn't the best thing for her health. Years later, I have now been in the Health & Fitness industry for over 20 years. I am passionate about helping other people to be their very best.I have always loved vegetables and fruits but knew I was not eating enough of them. I was introduced to Juice Plus while I had a fitness studio when a client shared her experience with me. I began to represent Juice Plus to give myself a better diet and healthier lifestyle. The product enables you to have all the fruits and vegetables you need in a day as suggested by the National Institute of Health.A second area of interest is self-defense for women. I became a 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and developed the realization that with training like this, you need to be consistent with practicing to keep the skill set. I was inspired by a speech I did in Toastmasters and developed a valuable program called Brain vs Brawn Self Defense for Women.My interest in Health & Fitness also extends to our older population. Older people, in general, find it difficult to exercise. Through a program I created called Couch Fitness, I teach how to accomplish accidental exercising! The National Institute of Aging states that 10 minutes a day is a recommended guideline for our older Americans. What better time to do this than while during commercials?
