- Advising multi-national, publicly traded companies & private equity firms across the middle east regionon a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting including: *Acquisitions, alliances/joint ventures, post deal accounting. * IFRS 9 implementation for banking and non banking sectors. * Implementations of IFRS 16. * Implementations of IFRS 15. * Application of IFRS 17. * Advising on complex accounting issues related to both IFRS and US GAAP. * Assisting the leadership team in building a long-term vision and strategy to continue grow the business.- Leading and contributing to development of new business relationships and business proposals.- Possessing a solid knowledge of IFRS and conducting in depth research on complex matters, handlingtechnical discussions with global industry experts and applying critical thinking to provide clients withhigh value and technically robust solutions.-Leading engagement teams of up to 18 staff.- Managing and building day-to-day client relationships across a complex network of stakeholders andmanagement structures.- Preparing Budgets, allocating resource and handling business collections

-Managing the process of planning an audit and obtain an understanding of the business and its environment.-Review and evaluate a company’s financial statement.-Identify risks of material misstatements and business risks affecting the financial statements assertions, and design appropriate risk responses.-Develop a risk-based test plan by selecting appropriate audit approach.-Prepare the audit report, financial statements and the notes to FS-Lead the team and give the appropriate coaching for less experienced staff.-Planning for active and ongoing supervision and review of work done and documentation at the appropriate level throughout the audit engagement.-Communicate errors, weaknesses in cycles to the shareholders.
