District Xi Manager
Current• Direct and implement projects and programs as identified by district officers.• Oversee all aspects of Fellow, Junior Fellow, and Young Physician District Advisory Council meetings including meeting logistics, identifying speakers, preparing materials, and post-event deliverables.• Budget preparation and management for all district activities.• Manage district related communication, listserv, newsletter, and social media platforms for 4,000+ members, officers and other stakeholders. • Work with officers and state lobbyist on Texas legislative activities affecting women’s health and physician practice.• Represent the district at various stakeholder meetings where women’s health may be impacted.• Coordinate and promote abstract submission process for medical student and resident in training research for annual district conference presentations.• Manage nominations, appointments, and program awards for various committees.• Assist District Chair with periodic reporting to the ACOG National Board of Directors.• Maintain district policies and procedures and provide recommendations for updates as needed. • Collaborate with various ACOG departments including Meetings, Membership, Government Relations, Financial Service Center, and Communications to respond to officer and member requests.
