Managed the program to build and launch a new Medicaid Enterprise System for DMAS (Department of Medical Assistance Services) for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Built the enterprise program plan to integrate and coordinate the project activities of eight subcontractors (Accenture, Deloitte, Optum, etc.), and managed progress and issues throughout the lifecycle of the program.

- Cloud Migration (Virginia Dept. of Transportation): Moved VDOTs server-based PPM platform to SaaS using O365/Project Online. Built enhanced functionality and advanced PMO maturity. Project was on time and budget, saving Virginia $500,000 over 3 years; the project was nominated for an award from the Governor of Virginia.- Agile Trainer and Coach (VDOT): Provided leadership and guidance to VDOT’s organizational Agile transformation and implementation effort. Developed and executed an approach to fit the organizational structure and culture. Organized, trained, mentored and coached ten Agile teams to execute the transformation strategy.- Senior Consultant (Healthfirst): Defined and established an Enterprise PMO (2000+ project employees). Identified and tracked all enterprise work for prioritization and assignment. Organized, established and implemented standards for Portfolios, Programs and Projects.- Senior Consultant (UVa Health PMO): Working for the University of Virginia CIO, assessed all IT-related systems and support personnel for the UVa Health System, including all service lines, the University Physician Group, and the School of Medicine. Inventoried resources and assets by interviewing department heads and their teams throughout the Health System, in order to recommend redundancies and cost saving opportunities.- PPM Implementation (Healthfirst): Implemented Project Server to manage enterprise plans and operations using an Agile methodology, while mentoring client team members. Established best-practice configurations to match needs, developed advanced processes, trained end users, designed and implemented all security configurations.- Agile Trainer and Coach (Anthem): Utilized a player/coach approach to train and guide a development team unfamiliar with Agile. Established, managed and organized the work and artifacts/ceremonies using Jira and SharePoint).
