The primary organizational focus will be the Division’s international activities and the programs in the Epidemiology and Prevention branch. Much of the assistance provided will focus on ensuring the accurate and timely purchase, delivery and payment of supplies and equipment for laboratory testing and surveillance. The Analyst will review the Purchase Request Forms completed by Branch scientists for accuracy and completeness and reconcile any discrepancies prior to approval by the senior management official. Upon approval and certification of funding by the branch manager, the Program Analysts will submit the orders and enter the purchase in a tracking spreadsheet located on the Influenza Division share drive. They will track the orders and, upon receipt, review the invoice to ensure the appropriate goods/services are received. Periodic studies will be conducted to analyze the acquisitions for reporting and future budget purposes.
