With over 15 years of experience in safety, security, and emergency management, I am a passionate and driven leader who strives to create a safe and positive environment for all stakeholders. As the Director of Safety and Security Operations at MLSE, I oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of safety and security operations for the organization's diverse portfolio of sports and entertainment venues, events, and teams. I work closely with internal and external partners, such as the police, fire, and emergency services, to ensure compliance, coordination, and best practices. In my previous role as the Director of Corporate Safety Programs at MLSE, I led the development and execution of a comprehensive safety strategy and culture across the organization, resulting in improved performance, engagement, and recognition. Before joining MLSE, I was the Director of Safety, Security, and Environment at The Calgary Airport Authority, where I managed the safety, security, and environmental aspects of the airport operations, including risk assessment, incident response, and regulatory compliance. I have a strong background and credentials in firefighting, aviation, and paramedicine, which give me a unique perspective and skill set in the field of safety and security.
