I am a psychodynamic, relational and experiential therapist specializing in somatic based therapies. I view the world systemically. My work with clients is humanistic and client centered. I help clients uncover and understand their deeper motivations and emotions, thereby providing them with clarity and choice. I teach clients skills in emotional regulation, interpersonal communication and mindfulness. As clients discover and metabolize primary emotions, I bring their awareness to the changes that occur by doing so, helping them integrate new adaptive beliefs and move towards their goals . My work aims to nourish, support and ground through connection, compassion and awareness. After completing my graduate program in psychology, specializing in counseling from the LIOS program at Saybrook University, I've been trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Trauma Resiliency Model, EMDR, CBT+, CBTp, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), and Interpersonal Neurobiology (INPB).I am an active member of the Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study. I have been engaging in mindfulness practice for over 18 years. Deepening my understanding of psychology is a never-ending journey, currently I am participating in a Buddhist Psychology Training with Spirit Rock Insight Meditation Center: Scientific Intersections and Clinical Applications of Dharma.
