Started off as a part time volunteer and quickly got hired on as an Administrative Assistant / Service Manager. Within six months was working as a full-time Service Manager assessing potential clients for ESL training and funding. My exceptional client service skills contributed to my new role as the ESL Coordinator. Later management gave me the opportunity to create an employment skills curriculum and I was moved into a new role of Employment Coordinator and Literacy Instructor. My time with the organization allowed me to wear multiple hats and build a number of skills that has contributed to future roles. • Entered student’s data entry on MOBIUS • Liaised between outside agencies, Alberta Employment and Immigration • Determined client’s eligibility for program and compiled operational data required• Facilitated Employment Workshops • Developed Curriculum for low literacy benchmarks and employment skills
