I am committed to my position as technology facilitator at Bethel Elementary School. My mission is to provide the highest quality technology-based instruction and training to teachers and students, to prepare life long learners through the use of 21st century resources, and to promote appropriate technology behavior and the understanding of what it is to be a digital citizen.• 5+ years of success serving in an educational environment provideing leadership, training and support to teachers and providing instructional assistance in the integration of computer, video, information and communications technologies. • Facilitated and guided students to reach their unique potential through rigorous instruction and supported staff via in-service workshops and individualized instruction to facilitate integration of technology into classroom lessons.• As a respectd member of the School Improvement Team member: initiated and facilitated various implementations that proved to be a great benefit school, staff and students. • Ensured constant optimal use of implemented technologies by effectively maintaining systems and troubleshooting technical issues for over 600 devices (Desktops, laptops, iPads, etc.)• Additional responsibilities during years of service as Instructional Technology Facilitator: Webmaster, PBIS Committee Member, planned school and county level technology professional development.

• 15+ years of service as a youth educator working with kindergarten and fifth grade students in various schools while consistently exhibiting proficiency in NC Common Core State Standards K-5.• Fostered the intellectual and social development of children in the first phases of their educational experience.
