With over 14 years of experience as a neurosurgeon, I have developed a passion for cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery, a mission to improve the outcomes and quality of life of stroke patients, and a field of expertise in blood-brain-barrier physiology. I am currently the Director of Neuroscience Research and Education at Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana, one of the largest and most comprehensive health care systems in the region. I am committed to advancing the field of Endovascular neurosurgery through innovation, research, and education, and to bringing diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.In my current role, I lead a multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, radiologists, and nurses, who provide cutting-edge and compassionate care to patients with complex cerebrovascular disorders, such as aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, carotid stenosis, and stroke. I perform both open and endovascular procedures, using the latest technologies and techniques, such as flow diversion, stent retriever thrombectomy, and bypass surgery. I also contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical trials, to ensure the best outcomes and safety for our patients. I leverage my skills in cerebrovascular disease, endovascular, and neurosurgery, to deliver excellence in patient care, teaching, and research.
