Provided legal advice on complicated and novel issues that arise in charges of employment discrimination in 53 field offices across the country; reviewed Supreme Court decisions, proposed legislation, regulations, guidance and policies to determine their impact on the Commission’s statutory mandates, existing policies with respect to Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and EPA, and nationwide charge processing procedures; met with high level officials of the Commission and other government agencies regarding complex legal matters with nationwide impact; presented the effect of Commission’s views on Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and EPA issues to various staff, including high level senior executives; presented the provisions and impact of newly enacted legislation on nationwide charge processing and investigations to various staff, including high level field senior executives; prepared written analyses on complicated legal and procedural matters that affect nationwide charge processing and investigations; won numerous awards, including the Chair’s Excellence in Leadership Award, two Chair CORE Awards and numerous Chair Organizational Awards.
