Instructor of public health course focused on Race and Health disparities where students examine personal, community, social, and institutional structures that increase morbidity and mortality risk among racial and ethnic populations with a focus on root causes of inequity.

Provide supervision and support for HIV medical and non medical case management services in the Deaf HIV program. Working collaboratively with clients, case managers, and medical providers to improve the health of PLWH who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Provide monitoring and technical assistance to grantees who provide Tobacco Treatment services for people living with HIV.

Teach writing fundamentals and basic grammar in a developmental English course.

Through the use of the 5A's (Ask, Advise, Assess, Assist, and Arrange), I help reduce tobacco use with clients living with HIV. Employing motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral, I provide counseling and support during the cessation process. My other roles at Unified are providing HIV test counseling, and supportive services for the direct care department by facilitating a women's support group for women living with HIV. As Quality Management Coordinator, I review client data and ensure staff are complying with grant deliverables and meeting performance measures.

I connect people who are living with HIV/AIDS to medical care, and monitor their medication adherence. I work with clients to develop a service plan and make proper referrals for them to meet their goals. I also facilitate a psycho/social support group for women who are HIV positive
