I am an Associate Professor of Architecture at Cal Poly (San Luis Obispo) in the College of Architecture and Environmental Design. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture from the University of Virginia. I am a practicing architect and co-founder of SLO-based flux [fluxwurx.com]. My first book, Collage and Architecture, was published by Routledge in 2013, and the second edition was published in July 2023.In spring 2023, I was a visiting lecturer and researcher at Politecnico di Torino, in both the Dipartimento di Architettura e Design (DAD) and the drawing to the future laboratory in the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Strutturale, Edile e Geotecnica (DISEG).
