• Manage 3 scientists to generate and validate 30+ genetically edited (KnockIN/KnockOUT) hiPSC lines, using CRISPR-Cas9/MAD7 or Sleeping Beauty/PiggyBac transposon technology. • Design and implement multiplex gene editing in iPSC, streamlining clone isolation, generating and QC workflow, leading to a 30% reduction in the gene-edited iPSC line production timeline. • Develop and implement on-site genotyping (PCR/qPCR/ddPCR) and functional assay (Cell-/Flow-based) to verify gene edits and their functionality, reducing the product analytical timeline by 60%. • Manage technology transfer initiatives to seamlessly integrate with the product team, ensuring on-time and under-budget product delivery. • Liaise scientific inquiries from clients on generated cell lines and platform technologies• Screen, interview, and train new team members joining the Genome Editing team

- Spearheaded a new approach for reprocessing small molecules for Parkinson’s disease (PD) by integrating HTS and IBM Watson AI platform.- Designed, optimized and implemented the phenotypical HTS assay on 175,000 small molecules under 10 weeks, leading to 9 hit molecule identification.- Developed and implemented three secondary validation assays for screening for PD therapeutics. - Analyzed the screening and validation assay result with the IBM Watson AI platform and Cyclica Ligand Express/Design platform, led to the identification of 2 lead molecules for MoA Studies- Generate PD disease cell model: introducing PD-related mutation in iPSC cells using CRISPR-Cas9 technology and differentiating edited iPSC into midbrain dopaminergic neurons for lead molecules validation.
