Qa Lead
Current- Responsible for Test planning, Test strategy, Test execution and tools.- Review of the testing strategy, approach, and plans.- Ensuring traceability of test cases to requirements.- Work with Test Team to ensure testing is complete, tracked and on-schedule.- Coordinate performance testing.- Review of test results and defects to determine impact to overall release plan.- Primary point of communication for team.- Review the status reports of the Test Engineers- Coordinate team of Test Engineers and activities across all modules.- Provide assistance to team to ensure they are following testing and defect reporting processes.- Track the new / updated requirements in the project and modify testing artifacts accordingly.- Get information on the latest releases/ builds from the development team.- Administer the project in the test management system.- Administer the Application under test (e.g. add users for the tests).- Assign tasks to the Test Engineers based on the software test plan- Check the status of each assigned task daily and resolve any issues faced by the team members with their tasks- Ensure that each team member is optimally occupied with work.- Review defect and assign valid defects to the relevant developer.- Assign returned defect reports and assist the concerned Test Engineer.- Ensure the resolved defects are re-tested- Provide status reports to QA Manager.- Communicate with the offshore team members.
