I am an artist who works in the areas of educational comics, science-fantasy, and young-adult graphic fiction. I mainly focus on projects that showcase science, diversity, and themes that prompt readers look at the world in a different way. I am also a firm believer in the high quality and future of independent comics, and prefer to manage my content, production and distribution outside of the arena of traditional publishing. - Creator of the award-winning, critically-acclaimed online comics The Meek and Mare Internum, the printed versions of which have collectively raised over $250,000 in backing on Kickstarter.- Creator of the intersectional comics anthology, ALLOY, the first volume of which is slated to release in April 2019- Cofounder of Ascend Comics, a new comics publishing company- Contributor to the award-winning Flight anthology (Flight 8, published by Random House/ Villard 2011), the award-winning Elements anthology by Beyond Press, the Sleep of Reason anthology by Iron Circus Comics, Great Adaptations, and others- Currently working or have worked with many clients on independent projects (selections listed below)

Worked on UI and 2D art for several casual games

- Concepted and created in-depth visual style guides and documentation for assets, environments, saga maps and UI- Worked closely with and managed multiple teams of off-site artists to efficiently produce high quality 2D art, animation and UI- Researched and created in-game assets and environments- Organized storage and documentation for all assets- Uploaded and QA'd art assets and builds as appropriate using internal CMS and SVN- Responsible for writing in-game story dialogue and contributed to creative/ design decisions
