I Managed the Security and Availability Federal Sales Team. My job is to make sure our sales team has what they need to be successful on a daily basis, to build relationships within our partners, add value to our partners sales teams using all available resources, and to make advancements in operations to increase efficiency. Activities included managing a team of 5 sales personnel, field sales at numerous Government agencies, and working hand in hand with each vendor to ensure we are as effective as possible in adding Value to their efforts. Other duties at Emergent include high level technical insight into the Emergent's solutions portfolio and helping to locate gaps in our offering so that we can bring on the right partners.

Made calls to various Executives and businesses owners in the Washington DC area in order to get them to come to our speaker events. I also worked on a very innovative marketing project which used Web 2.0 networking applications to contact potential members.

Beach Lifeguard on a popular vacation beach in southern Delaware. Kept the beachessafe and pulled people from dangerous ocean currents.
