I am an Associate Teacher at the K class. I support the head teacher in the day-to-day class activities including arrival, dismissal, morning meeting, recess/lunch, lesson support, classroom management, and transitions. I assist the head teacher in lesson planning in the subject areas of language arts, social studies, math, and community building, and I develop effective classroom management strategies.

• Taught at events that focused on career readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy- Collaborated with teachers, volunteers, and school administrators to ensure smoothprogram execution.• Secured educator, student, and volunteer feedback to improve program quality.- Worked with students about possible careers they would like to pursue

- Discussed a range of careers: paleontology, robotics, and programming and taught dinosaurs, robotics, and coding classes - Led group activities and gave feedback on completed projects

- Discussed careers in the engineering field and taught students engineering concepts by running relevant activities, such as the the build-a-roller-coaster activity - Used classroom management strategies so that students had a positive environment - Asked questions to make sure of student understanding

- Discussed careers to elementary students, such as the police force, medical and teaching professions- Taught history, science and English - Designed educational materials that were used in classes

- Founded a nonprofit that focused on teaching business and entrepreneurship - Ran events that focused on entrepreneurship - Secured a partnership with Columbia University's Net Impact Club, and reached more than 300 students by working with the organizers

- Taught students about how to gather information about their communities - Assisted in design efforts for iMapAmerica, which connected youth with communities
