I've spent 20+ years raising funds for major nonprofit groups as a staff member for St Jude Children's Hospital, Hospice of Palm Beach County, and as an independent contractor for The National Center For Missing & Exploited Children and the Adam Walsh Child Resource Center. After retiring from these endeavors, I've turned my focus to a childhood dream revolving around my love for horses. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined owning a daughter, a granddaughter and 2 grandsons of Secretariat, along with third and fourth generation descendants. The first grandson was born on my birthday. Out of seven mares, she was the last to give birth. What a birthday surprise! Now four crops later, I have enjoyed the thrill of standing in the winner's circle at Gulfstream Park. I've enjoyed watching each horse progress in various stages of training and I especially enjoyed my first foaling experience in 2014 when I helped deliver a handsome chestnut colt who was born on Secretariat's birthday. He has a double Secretariat pedigree (Sire and Dam) and he ran in huge circles the first time he was released in the large pasture. The second crop is racing and the third is in training and preparing to go to the track. Johnny Leroy (the 2nd grandson from the third crop) will make his racing debut this fall in Saratoga. NY. "Breeding With A Mission"​ program will continue to breed our broodmares to Secretariat descendants as close up as possible, most especially those who express the X factor (large heart). I have recently formed Majestic Partners, LLC to offer modestly priced racing shares to allow Secretariat fans to participate in the excitement of their racing careers.
