In 1986, Ms. Vincent began her career as a register nurse working in the acute critical where she gained advanced clinical expertise in trauma, orthopedics, neurology, and physical rehabilitation. In 1994, Ms. Vincent transitioned into case management and obtained her CCMC board certification. She began working for a large national third-party administrator where she honed her case management and negotiation skills in catastrophic case management. Working constantly to ensure her patients receive the best quality care while being very conscientious about cost and savings. In 2002, she was the recipient of the United States Quality Award for Catastrophic Case Management. Her focus on quality outcomes combined with her natural leadership abilities led to her advancement into management where she spearheaded fundamental changes that resulted in higher quality and greater profitability. In 2006, her region was the Crawford & Company’s United States Circle of Excellence Winner for delivering the highest quality scores in the country. Shortly afterwards, Ms. Vincent entered private practice founding Guardian Medical Consulting. Since 2007, Ms. Vincent has been the Executive Officer of Guardian Medical Consulting which has grown to a regional company that specializes in medical case management, senior care, and legal consulting services. In 2020, Ms. Vincent was honored with the State of Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development BWC, Sue Ann Head Award for Excellence in Worker’s Compensation. In 2021, at the request of the Administrator of the Tennessee Bureau of Worker’s Compensation, Ms. Vincent became a Stakeholder Representative in the REWARDS program which is a resource for employers. Ms. Vincent has been committed to advancing the practices of case management and disability management and serves as a Subject Matter Expert for the CCMC.
