I am General Manager at The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. (SCI), the largest and most diversified Indian shipping company and a leader in energy and commodity transportation. I have over 30 years of experience in the maritime industry and a marine engineering degree from the renowned Marine Engineering and Research Institute.As GM offshore I am looking after the offshore department.As the head of the tanker department of the Bulk Carrier and Tanker Division, I managed the technical operations and performance of various types of tankers, including VLCC, Suezmax, Aframax, crude, and product tankers. I also have extensive experience in handling specialized vessels, such as LNG, LPG, and chemical tankers, and in developing and executing new projects related to LNG for 11 years . I was also in charge of the Dhabhol port in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, one of the key LNG terminals in the country. My core competencies include marine engineering, maritime operations, technical management, vessel optimization, and project management. I am passionate about enhancing SCI's performance, profitability, and reputation in the global maritime market.
