I am General Manager at The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. (SCI), the largest and most diversified Indian shipping company and a leader in energy and commodity transportation. I have over 30 years of experience in the maritime industry and a marine engineering degree from the renowned Marine Engineering and Research Institute.As GM offshore I am looking after the offshore department.As the head of the tanker department of the Bulk Carrier and Tanker Division, I managed the technical operations and performance of various types of tankers, including VLCC, Suezmax, Aframax, crude, and product tankers. I also have extensive experience in handling specialized vessels, such as LNG, LPG, and chemical tankers, and in developing and executing new projects related to LNG for 11 years . I was also in charge of the Dhabhol port in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, one of the key LNG terminals in the country.
