ENOVIA Digital Mockup is a high end desktop application in which the end designer can review the final design and can manage the lifecycle in a typical design process. This product actually runs as a workbench inside the CATIA V5 application. My role was to design, develop and maintain the existing functionalities inside the product. This at times required direct interactions with end customers in order to understand their issue and provide a solution on an immediate basis.In this role, I was expected to travel to customer locations in Europe in order to understand their requirements. This involved interactions with non English speaking counterparts.The programming languages involved are C++ (CAA), Core JAVA.Role: - Design and development lead for offshore team.- Handling critical customer issues and providing a quick support.- Ensure delivery timelines and schedules.- Onsite coordinator for a period of 6 months.

ENOVIA 3d com portal is a thick client application which is used by the end designer and product manager to review the overall design. This is a self installing application. On the server, this application is exposed on an http server which when accessed downloads the required libraries as and when required. This gives a feel of it being a thin client although it is a thick client rich application.This application had capabilities of integrating with classic Dassault Systemes applications which run only on UNIX platform. Due to this, the end user was able to use the UNIX application functionalities inside the Windows working environment too.Programming languages used were C++, Core Java and Java applets.Role: - Development of product features and maintenance.- Ensure quality of the product with minimal regressions.- Coordination with onsite development team members.
