It includes Resource management, financial, scheduling, change, risk and quality assurance systems and document management systems required for the efficient and effective monitoring and management of projects, programs and portfolio.• Setting the Sydney Trains Strategy and managing investment priorities, Commercial Business Cases, Funding & allocations for Projects & Programs• Conduct Program data quality and performance analysis, ensuring compliance of Enterprise methodologies are being applied by the Project delivery managers• Monitor and report the closure of assurance recommendations for improvement and conditions requiring action / completion with affected project personnel• Support the evolution of the project controls management environment, providing subject matter expertise in specific areas of project controls to support effective project management and sound decision-making• Review financial performance information and plans, including the Annual budget and the portfolio’s monthly accounts and forecasts, to ensure they are robust and accurately reflect key project, program and portfolio issues• Work with and manage internal & external stakeholder relationships, Portfolio Directors to drive Cost management, Cost controls, Risk and opportunities as per Standards and Business priorities

• Provide Financial and Commercial analytics, Strategic financial advice and recommendations to Senior Management team in decision making• Management & Financial reporting for INSW Executives, Department of Premier and Cabinet, Transport for NSW and NSW Treasury• Managing INSW wide budgeting processes, financial reviews, monitoring & analysis including commentary and advice to Executives to meet organisational needs & statutory requirements• Preparation and reviews on Final Business Proposals (FBP’s), Projects, Cost estimates, Cost & Benefit Analysis, and submissions to NSW Treasury• Submissions for NSW Treasury’s Budgets, Appropriations, including new policy proposals (NPP), enhanced funding proposals, forward estimates & related financial matters• Work with budget owners, manage internal & external stakeholder relationships, Business Directors to ensure budgets reflect divisional plans and remain within budget allocation• Monthly NSW Treasury PRIME reporting on Actual Business performance, Projections, Forward Estimates in accordance with reporting standards and Treasury submissions timeframes• Monitor and assess the efficiency and effectiveness of financial and accounting processes, and any client feedback to Finance and Operations

• Lead Principal department Portfolio and programs performance planning, monitoring, reporting, evaluation and improvement, in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other priorities• Partner with senior leadership teams to align Business financial strategies and provide advice to comply with financial controls, commercial decisions, budget protocols & reporting requirements• Annual Business Financial planning, budgeting, setting OPEX and CAPEX Budgets, supporting the identification, collection, analysis, quality control and dissemination of business intelligence information to help stakeholders make strategic and operational decisions• Review of Financial & Cost components of Business cases proposals, Projects, Cost estimates, Cost & Benefit Analysis, Budget Proposals, and submissions to NSW Treasury• Oversee and monitor Principal Department performance and provide expert advice to executives and stakeholders, including identifying emerging portfolio performance issues and risks• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure strong collaboration, engagement in pursuit of strategic and operational outcomes

• Partner with senior leadership teams to align Business and departmental financial strategies and provide advice to comply with financial controls, commercial contracts, budget protocols & performance reporting requirements• Provide high level financial and commercial advice to senior management team in supporting effective decision making• Analysis and reporting on complex financial information in relation to divisional and agency wide financial position and priorities• Financial planning, setting Recurrent & Capital Budgets, Projects appraisals & feasibilities submissions, Cost projections, Funding allocations, new policy proposals (NPP) and analysing monthly variances• Reviews on funding for agency operating and major project capital expenditures, cost & benefit analysis, and to ensure the validity and completeness of financial management considerations

Annual Business financial planning, Budgeting, setting OPEX Budgets targets, forecasting of tolling revenue for Business assets & Sales Operations. Revenue & Operational cost performance, Monthly Board of Director’s reports, KPI’s dashboard, variances analysis and reviews with Senior Leadership team to ensure financial governance of business assets. Lead large scale revenue assurance initiatives, evaluate opportunities for improvements in tolling assets management, revenue and cost optimisation measures. Financial Modelling for NSW toll assets, Products revenue trends analysis, Business Performance insight reports, and monthly reviews with Directors & State Business Managers.

This role had business partnering with Business Unit,s Executive Directors and Sales Management team to support them in achieving business outcomes. It involved revenue, sales performance, commercial analysis and productivity improvements. I had worked on a number of large strategic commercial bids, new business cases development, financial modelling, CAPEX Program and new IT improvements Projects. Regular reviews on Revenue growth initiatives, Commercial strategy on Products Sales targets, revenue drivers, Sales pipeline management, and reviews with BU Sales Directors.

I successfully established appropriate financial management controls, KPI's reporting processes and decisions for APAC • I had provided financial advice to country controllers on technical accounting & financial issues and helped in resolving queries from executives.

Supported On-line Business Operations for APACManaged KPI's, Budgets, Forecasts, Management accounting processes for Asia Pacific. Also successfully handled compliance on US GAAPS reporting.Conducted audit of business systems & processes in compliance with SOX and Apple Corporate Policies and internal control procedures.

Responsibilities handled on Financial & Management accounting, treasury, budgeting, Taxation and Corporate reporting. Successfully managed Company Secretary & legal compliances for Indian business. Contributed to Board meetings, Audit Committee meetings and Quality Strategy Group.
