In 2013, from the confines of our hostel room, a small postcard stall at NID's canteen marked the inception of Daakroom, a venture I co-founded and have passionately nurtured into a full-time startup since 2022. This journey from a humble passion project to a platform fostering meaningful, handwritten communication exemplifies my commitment to preserving personal connections in our digital world.Parallel to Daakroom’s story, I embraced the role of co-founder at bioQ in 2018, where my husband and I have been championing eco-friendly, plantable stationery. This venture has allowed me to explore the intersection of sustainability and innovative design.My NID background anchors me in design thinking and product design, informing my approach to creating impactful and resonant experiences.Beyond the realm of entrepreneurship, I enjoy storytelling, theatre, and music, including sometimes making music, playing the keyboard, and singing. I try to maintain an early morning yoga routine. And often turn to crochet or macrame for relaxation and continuing doing more things by hand.At the core of my journey is a belief in the value of slowing down, cherishing the art of handwritten words and tangibility, and designing with purpose.
