 Research, Design, Trials and Safety Certification of Rolling Stock : Director,RDSO, Lucknow (April 2010 to July 2015)• Technical Scrutiny and Safety Clearance of Metro Rolling Stock including Certification for various Metros viz. BMRC, RMGL, CMRL, MMOPL and Jaipur Metro. Formulation of Criteria and Test Schemes for various Rolling Stock Acceptance trials including Bogie Equipment Tests and Oscillation Trials as per EN, UIC and RDSO Specifications.• Head of Vehicle Dynamics Group responsible for Vehicle Dynamics Simulations, LHB / Metro Bogie Design Studies including High Speed Bogies and suspension Systems. Formulation of Bogie procurement specifications for Indian Railways.• High End Suspension technology (Air Suspension and Conical spring) Designing, Formulating and implementation Projects in Passenger Rail Services in Indian Railways.• Techno Commercial evaluation and analysis, Evaluation and Monitoring in field, Standardization and Vendor Development for new technologies.• Completed High Speed Trains projects in Carriage Directorate. Taken up a project on “Suspension and Bogie Technology for High Speed Trains” as co-investigator with Centre of Railway Research (CRR), IIT, Kharagpur • Development and Testing of Engines, Emission measurement.
