I am a Design & Development Engineer having a hands-on experience in sheet metal Panel industries.Currently i am extensively working and focused on major design aspect which are as,• Design and development of sheet metal components for various projects, adhering to project timelines and quality standards.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and create detailed design specifications.• Analyze and optimize sheet metal designs for manufacturability, considering factors like material utilization, cost, structural integrity, and ease of fabrication Identify suitable sheet metal materials based on the project requirements, considering factors such as strength, corrosion resistance, weight, and cost.• Utilize CAD software such as ProE, CREO & AutoCAD to create 2D& 3D models of sheet metal parts, ensuring accurate dimensions and generating accurate manufacturing drawings.• Conduct design reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement design changes to optimize performance and reduce costs• Work closely with manufacturing engineers, production personnel, and suppliers to resolve design-related issues, address manufacturing constraints, and ensure smooth production processes.• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of design changes, specifications, and engineering drawings• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in sheet metal design.• Proactively seek opportunities to enhance design methodologies, tools, and processes.• Working with the software team to develop standalone applications.• Standardization of products to maximize productivity and reduce errors.
