Taught Statistics to a group of students who are part of the ODASIS Program at Rutgers University. Worked on facilitating a class of students as well as preparing and presenting material.

Worked alongside an Optometrist who teaches me about different aspects of the job. Also trained to pre-test patients as well as work with different types of insurances. A few of the Insurances I am comfortable working with but not limited to include; Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Eyemed, Humana and Spectera.

Student volunteer who is trained to sit the dogs in the club. We practice different commands and expose our dogs to various environments. The dogs are raised to a certain age and then are sent to be formally trained to become guide dogs for a blind person in need.

Shadowed Contact Lens Specialist Optometrist Dr. Charles Allen. Learned about different conditions, specifically contact lens difficulties patients face. Also exposed to the different types of contact lenses and the purpose of each one. Learned more about Glaucoma and how cataracts work and the process to remove one.

I worked as an intern for Farmer's Insurance and learned quite a bit about insurance. I gained experience in the industry as well as different aspects of the job. My job was to practice the position of a salesperson in Insurance. I went around selling Farmer's Insurance as well as attending weekly meetings to learn more about the company.

An academic tutor in English and Math. I taught kids from the age range between 2-17 years. I worked with younger kids on basic math and reading comprehension and advanced math and english composition with the older kids. I was trained different teaching styles that I could use depending on the needs of the child.

I volunteered at my local senior center as a high school student. I helped out with teaching basic computer skills as well as using Microsoft. Alongside another volunteer, we also conducting craft classes at the center and helped out the center with any tasks that needed to be completed.
