During my four-week internship at DMRC, I gained practical experience in the Telecom Department, working with advanced telecommunication technologies that support one of the world’s most efficient metro systems. My key responsibilities included:Telecommunication Systems: Assisted in the operation and maintenance of EPABX systems, SDH nodes, and other critical communication infrastructures.Real-Time Monitoring: Engaged in monitoring and troubleshooting PIDS/PAS, CCTV networks, and telecommunication devices across the metro network.Collaborative Learning: Worked closely with industry professionals to gain insights into the integration of telecom systems within public transportation.System Analysis: Analyzed and understood the role of telecom systems in ensuring efficient and seamless metro operations.This internship significantly enhanced my technical skills and provided a deeper understanding of the importance of telecommunications in public transportation.
