As an Environmental Engineering student at the University of Florida, I feel passionate about protecting the environment by minimizing anthropogenic effects on ecosystems. I enjoy learning about sustainability and sustainable infrastructure, environmental remediation, beneficial reuse, and wastewater treatment technologies, and I relish the challenge of ensuring equitable access to clean water. To ensure a future for our posterity, we must adapt our approaches to designing infrastructure to meet the needs of tomorrow, but not at the expense of nature. In August of 2023, I completed my internship with Kimley-Horn's Water/Wastewater Group. In May of 2024, I started my position as a Process/Chemical Engineering Intern for Black & Veatch, focusing on wastewater processes.
