UF Engineers Without Borders Nepal

Engineers Without Borders (EWB) is a nonprofit organization that aims to build a better world through engineering projects that empower communities to meet their basic human needs and equip leaders to solve the world’s most pressing challenges. The University of Florida (UF) chapter has been partnered with the communities of Khanalthok and Phoolbari, Nepal since 2013 addressing water and sanitation needs in local primary and secondary schools. The UF EWB Nepal team is a multidisciplinary group of approximately 30 undergraduate students who work year-round on designs, fundraising, lesson plans, and research & development to provide solutions to water and sanitation needs.
