• Design and implementation of a software system that can perform probabilistic record linkage between archived administrative recordsets to support research and evaluation. Assume leadership of the development and management of this system while working with a third party LLC that built the software for learning based matching.• Developed the statement clues, training data and the matching model using data from four sources to start with, which are used to link datasets in collaboration with a consultant from the third party LLC.• Provided a basic prototypical setup of metadata documentation listings for all data source files for internal use by researchers. Oversaw the setup of some metadata relevant to matching and the work distribution and management of the student assistants.• Helped with a collaboration for parsing and Geocoding of Address, a component of the matching setup among other uses by helping collaborate with the Geographic Information Sciences and Technology Institute and created the series stacked datasets for them to parse and Geocode to move it along various phases.• Developed a conceptual map of the system architecture and created a parallel quicker working model for performing complex data manipulations and merging of component databases (e.g., data corrections, data transformations and restructuring).• Developed database on MS SQL Server which involves import, cleaning and standardizing the process to integrate it into the linkage architecture.• Helped do some preliminary studying of data and create ad-hoc linked datasets for various studies at the CDN.• Helped figure out and facilitate the selection and purchase of softwares that were required along the way by the CDN in consultation with SOWK IT to customize requirements that fit the demands of the CDN.• Probabilistically linked files from the data sources in collaboration with a consultant and other researchers to achieve an optimized ad-hoc linkage architecture.

Research Project Title: Transforming Cancer Knowledge, Attitudes and Behavior through Narrative. I work as a student worker under Dr. Sheila Murphy and Dr. Joyee Chatterjee, assisting them in this research project. For a brief overview of the entire project, you can watch the attached video.

 Apart from my ongoing responsibilities as a Professional, Developed a Java based new generation Risk Management application partially, to receive market data from Bloomberg. It received live market data from Reuters before, on a team of around 20. Responsible to mentor a new student joiner. Brought him up to speed with respect to the application and its production and regression support, managing the infrastructure effectively. My responsibilities increased in terms of communication with other teams, traders, development and support based alike, apart from mentoring new members who joined the team.

 Developed and maintained parts of the application in VC++ (front end), Java Core (middleware) and Sybase (backend database) on a global team of around 15 involving the entire software development lifecycle. Primarily assisted business (Equity Traders) in adding terms like Discounting Rho Pointwise for instruments, some based on the price of their underlying. Worked through stored procedures to get the base values, cache the values as per their reference portfolios in a Java based caching component, then aggregate and dollarize these values in the VC++ front end. Developed a reporting tool (Java Core) which reported a comparative performance of this application based on two test runs which was a part of the Continuous Integration Testing (CIT) initiative. Solely responsible for the migration of regular schedules from one platform (Cron tab) to another (Control M).
