Researching and launching bacterial samples into the stratosphere to better understand how varying dosages of ionizing radiation affect the transcription rates and replication mechanisms of Escherichia coli, with applications to future human spaceflight. Working in collaboration with the Canadian Space Agency and SEDS Canada.

Leading a team of students in the development and execution of space-related events to strengthen the space community at McMaster. - Spearheaded the execution of Space Industry Night. With 200+ students in attendance, we invited 14 networkers from 7 different space companies across Canada to provide guidance to students looking to get involved in the space industry. - Organized Women in Space panels to empower the next generation of women scientists, engineers, and astronauts - Developed Space Co-op Nights, where students have the opportunity to hear from their fellow peers about how to land co-op and internship opportunities within the space sector.
